My interest in nature's form led to a B.A. in molecular biology. My interest in creating form led to a B.A. in industrial design.
Together, these passions ignited a solo practice strong on functional innovation and human enablement in the fields of medicine, military and sports.
Over three decades, my clients have ranged from startups and nonprofits to Fortune 500 companies. Product awards include Gold, IDSA and BusinessWeek; Grand Award, Popular Science; and Best New Gear, Backpacker Magazine.
I've also enjoyed success patenting and licensing personal inventions. The insights from this experience bring a deep practical empathy to all aspects of a client's project.
